New Embossing Technique

Wow -- vacation and pneumonia in the family have taken a toll this month!  I did find a moment to play with a new technique that was very fun.  It's called Emerging Color, and I may have to teach this at an upcoming embossing class.  Way cool!  Here's the card I came up with:

While I'm not certain I like the way the card turned out, the technique with the embossed medallion was neat to watch unfold.  This card used Crumb Cake, Real Red, Marina Mist and Night of Navy inks, clear embossing powder, Early Espresso grosgrain ribbon, hemp, Marina Mist button, a brayer and embossing heat tool.  The stamps were from Greenhouse Garden, Medallion, and My Friend.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  I hope you have a fantastic day!
